If I EVER get a dog it will be a basset hound! They are the best family dog ever! I had one when I was young her name was Samantha! THey are the cutest puppies and the best adult dogs! Go basset hounds!!
Not fair!! Jake says that you can't try to convince us they are so great, because I can't handle the mess. Your basset is soo adorable! I have been ruined by Baxter...the freak basset who weighs 75 pounds! Whenever I think of them, all I picture is that! Jake eventually wants a Great Dane, but we need a good sized yard. I hate to disappoint, but I Think we are getting a puggle-they are so perfect for what we are looking for!

Those pictures make me want a basset. But I don't know how Sheba would handle that! Sheba is a pit/lab mix...and we think she's great...she's just missing those adorable ears!
